    • 1/2 cup butter, softened
    • 2 eggs
    • 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
    • 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    • 1 3/4 teaspoons baking powder
    • 1/2 cup milk
  2. For the Glaze
    • 1/2 cup of powdered sugar
    • 2 tablespoons of milk or cream

  1. Preheat and Prepare
    • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
    • Grease and flour a 9×5 inch loaf pan.
  2. Mix the Apple Mixture
    • In a bowl, mix brown sugar and cinnamon.
    • Add the chopped apples and coat them evenly with the sugar-cinnamon mixture. Set aside.
  3. Prepare the Bread Batter
    • In a separate large bowl, beat white sugar and butter together until smooth and creamy.
    • Beat in eggs, one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract.
    • Combine the flour and baking powder, add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
    • Finally, stir in the milk until the batter is smooth.
  4. Assemble the Bread
    • Pour half of the batter into the prepared loaf pan.
    • Layer with half of the apples and then half of the brown sugar-cinnamon mixture.
    • Pour the remaining batter over the apple layer and top with the remaining apples and brown sugar-cinnamon mixture.
  5. Bake the Bread
    • Bake for 50-60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of the loaf comes out clean.
  6. Prepare the Glaze
    • While the bread is cooling, mix the powdered sugar and milk or cream together until smooth.
  7. Final Touch
    • Once the bread has cooled, drizzle the glaze over the top.
